TOA Canada Expands Its Technical Department with New Hires

TOA Canada, a manufacturer and distributor of sound and PA equipment, along with intercom and mass notification systems, has grown its technical staff with the goal of providing better technical and sales support to its customers and sales force.

“It’s fantastic! Our technical support department is now a blue-chip unit,” says TOA Canada Director and GM Rico Lucia. “Our products can be very technical, adding these new members to our current staff will provide the support our customers deserve.”

The two new hires arrive at the Mississauga, ON headquarters with a wealth experience. TOA says the technical department there to support and advise its customers but also improve upon the products functionality and ability to integrate with other manufactures.

Faisal Mughal (pictured above, left), TOA’s Product Support associate brings with him an expertise in DSP’s, video and audio conferencing, and control systems. He is also very knowledgeable in networking fundamentals such as SIP/H323, TCP/IP, and VPN. In his previous position, Faisal was lead in various projects dealing with large conference rooms and phone systems integration. He is Cisco certified in CCIE voice and CCVP in addition he has an A/V Programmer Engineer certificate from Creston Technical Institute. He also carries Master of Engineering Electrical Engineering (M.Eng.) from Ryerson University.

Parth Gadhavi (pictured above, right) reaches TOA with a background in a wide range of product lines. His focus will be to assist TOA Canada’s customers while at the same time helping the regional sales managers across Canada. TOA brought Gadhavi into the fold to be the Technical Sales Support member. He is highly proficient in A/V systems solutions, access control systems, public address systems, and BGM implementation. He was a key member of the design and install team that renovated the entire audio system at Damodar Auditorium in Mumbai, India. Gadhavi has over six years of experience in various fields of AV and has held different position’s including product support specialist and project manager. He also possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.

“Both of them have been great and attentive as we go over our product line,” says Technical Department Manager Mike Venner. “They are adapting very nicely and have already made strong contributions to our team.”
