NAB Show to Showcase the Latest in Media Tech & Research

15 NABThe NAB Show will be returning to Las Vegas from April 22-27, 2017. It is the world’s largest electronic media show covering the creation, management, and delivery of content across all platforms. The theme for this year’s show is The M.E.T. Effect, meaning the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology, fueled by internet connectivity and integrated systems.

This year, the specialized exhibit areas include the Post-Production Campus, Virtual and Augmented Reality Pavilion, and the Futures Park, which features demonstrations of high-tech media developments in progress, prototypes, and products not yet available for sale from research laboratories in the United States and around the world.

A wide spectrum of educational seminars, presentations, and programs is planned, including Sound and The M.E.T. Effect segment, which will host sound engineers, videographers, SFX specialists, station engineers, system integrators, and allied professionals talking about expanding the use and improving the quality of sound in the connected world. Sessions will include “Audio Monitoring for ATSC A/85 and OTT Production” and “Studio Video over IP – How it All Comes Together,” and more.
