MIAC Announce New Chairman Of The Board

Kroke received his B.Sc. in Music Education from North Dakota State University.  In 1993 he received his Masters in Music Composition from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. In 2004, Kroke received his MBA from Queens University in Kingston, ON.
Kroke succeeds outgoing chairman Julio Cotellesso of Steve’s Music Store.  In taking the reins of the MIAC Board, Cotellesso said, "I can’t think of a more critical time for leadership than right now, in the midst of overwhelming change. We look forward to working with Dale to take MIAC forward in the best interests of the Canadian music products market."

Joining Kroke as Vice Chairman is Marc Bertrand. Bertrand is a 20-year veteran of the professional audio industry and CEO of TC Group Americas in Kitchener, ON. Bertrand is a well respected industry leader and has many years of executive leadership with TC Group Americas. He has been an active member of the MIAC Board for a number of years and also serves on the PAL Show Planning Committee.  He is currently the Chair of InfoComm’s Manufacturer’s Committee based in Fairfax, Virginia. 
Kroke indicated that, "in his tenure with the association, Marc Bertrand has been as indispensable member of the board,” adding: “I look forward to working with him and the other board members to moving the Association forward into our next 40 years."
