LDI Show to Celebrate 30th Anniversary in 2018

The Live Design International (LDI) Show is set to return to the Las Vegas Convention Center from Oct. 15-21, 2018, with exhibits running from Oct. 19-21. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the show, which connects design, tech, and production professionals and technologies.

As one of the leading conferences and tradeshows for live design professionals from around the globe, LDI hosts over 14,000 members of the production community, working in a wide range of international live and broadcast venues – festivals, corporate events, theatre, concerts, clubs, theme parks, architainment, and houses of worship. Attendees from more than 80 countries go to LDI annually to see the latest gear in action from over 400 exhibitors and refresh their knowledge at the conference.

The 2018 LDI Conference will offer site-specific, case studies, hands-on technology training, behind-the-scenes tours, and panel discussions. Attendees can select from over 100 sessions from the comprehensive professional training programs, which include the LDInnovation Conference, the LDInstitute, and LDIntensives.

The LDInstitute is offering half-day, full-day, and two-day options. Attendees can get hands-on training on the latest lighting consoles and media servers and learn the latest content creation software. There is also the rigging and electrical boot camp and certified riggers and electricians can earn ETCP credits for almost all of these courses.

The LDInnovation Conference offers three days of sessions on the issues at the heart of the industry, with the latest design tips and techniques, lighting applications, lighting console programming, and video art and technology.

The LDIntensives courses are a unique mix of training in audio, lighting, projection, Ethernet, and technical direction. It combines the best in audio training, delving deeper into the world of Ethernet, putting pixel and projection mapping in the spotlight, and full-day courses for technical directors. All classes are priced individually.

LDInstitute and LDIntensives sessions are individually ticketed events, and each of these courses requires separate registration.
