Harman Professional Solutions Names Roland Rice as VP & GM of North American Sales

Harman Professional Solutions has announced that Roland Rice will join Harman as vice president and general Manager of North America sales.

Rice is a tenured sales and business development executive with more than 30 years of experience in North America sales across a range of industries. During his career, Rice has held a number of senior leadership roles at Altec Lansing, Diamond Multimedia, and Avid Technology, where he successfully restructured divisions and developed new logistics and sales channels. Most recently, as VP of sales at Plantronics, Rice was responsible for roughly $540-million annual revenue and established the company as the top market share leader in mobile and enterprise headset sales.

“We are thrilled and grateful to have Roland’s breadth of experience and sales leadership bring a new level of excellence to the sales organization,” says Mohit Parasher, president of Harman Professional Solutions. “In this key leadership role, Roland will lead the North America sales organization and set the strategy and direction as we focus on continuing to build momentum coming out of a great year in 2018 and achieving new heights in 2019.”

“This is a remarkable opportunity to join an organization with a best-in-class team and some of the most iconic and innovative brands in the industry,” adds Rice. “I’m thrilled to be entrusted to grow North American sales while working closely with the HARMAN team to deliver customers the best solutions and experience.”

Rice begins on Feb. 4, 2019 and will report directly to Parasher.
