City & Colour Live Sound Team Offering Unique Learning Opportunity to SoundGirl Members

SoundGirl, a North American organization inspiring and empowering the next generation of women in audio, is teaming up with the live sound team for Canadian indie-folk star City & Colour (aka Dallas Green) for a unique learning opportunity. During City & Colour’s cross-Canada arena tour this month, female audio engineers are able to apply for the chance to shadow Meaghan McEachren (monitor engineer) and Jon Halliwell (FOH engineer), who are working the tour with PRG Tour Sound.

McEachren and Halliwell will take two hours to tour their production and day-to-day life on the road. Two SoundGirls members per date.

The time of arrival would be 10 am local time and will conclude at 12 noon.
You will need a hard hat and steel toe shoes/boots.
