CITT/ICTS to Launch Group Membership Pilot Program

CITT/ICTS has unveiled the Group Mentorship Pilot Program for live performance production and technology professionals. This Group Mentorship Pilot Program is a collaboration between the CITT/ICTS Mentoring Network and the Professional Development and Mentorship Project (PDM Project), a pilot program created in partnership between The AFC, AFBS, and Dancer Transition Resource Centre.

CITT/ICTS will adapt this pilot program and provide the live performance production and technology sectors with this unique career development experience. The Group Mentorship Pilot Program offers a free one-month mentorship led by a respected and experienced group of leaders in the live performance production and technology industries.

CITT/ICTS encourages those looking to explore new roles or seek options for new careers inside or outside the live performance and technology sectors, as well as those looking to find career guidance and insight, to submit an application as a mentee for the pilot program.

Who can benefit from this pilot program?

This program is for Canadian professionals working in the live performance production and technology fields of any age looking to make a shift in their careers, including emerging, mid-career, and mature professionals; and those looking for insight and guidance for a specific career advancement goal or career exploration or transition.

Timeline:
- Application opens on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
- Application deadline is Tuesday, September 7th at 5 pm (EDT).
- Program application notifications will be sent to all applicants by email as of September 13, 2021.
- The cohort will meet once a week, starting during the week of September 20, 2021 and ending during the week of October 11, 2021.

How will the Group Mentorship Pilot Program work?
- The cohort will have access to three mentors with varied experience and expertise in the live performance production and technology fields;
- The group mentor/mentee experience will be a combination of collective learning and guidance with opportunities for more individual attention.
- This is a free pilot program for the live performance production and technology professionals in Canada.
- The cohort will consist of four online sessions, one per week, lasting one hour each, mainly in the evening (EDT).
- Mentees must commit to attending all four one-hour sessions.
