Germany-based manufacturer beyerdynamic has expanded its management team and global strategy. The company says the approach aims to build on beyerdynamic’s strengths and tap into new markets. At the same time, the global sales network will be expanded, and international brand awareness will be increased.
The new strategy is also reflected by three people:As the newest managing director, Robert Winterhoff is responsible for the Global Sales and Marketing division. Most recently he was responsible for emerging markets such as Brazil, China, India, and Russia as director of global sales for emerging markets, and BRIC countries.
“I want to play a major role in making beyerdynamic products better-known throughout the world, and as highly-regarded as they are in my eyes,” says Winterhoff.Sven Wilhelmsen is the new head of beyerdynamic’s headphones division and has extensive experience in the audio industry. Before joining the beyerdynamic on Oct. 1, 2015, Wilhelmsen spent more than a decade in several managerial positions at Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG. As the new head of the headphones division and a member of the beyerdynamic management board, he wants to further drive the expansion of the division.
“I look forward to working together with my team to carry on beyerdynamic’s positive brand development in the headphones market, and to offer new approaches in relevant areas,” says Wilhelmsen.Kamal Mahtani is responsible for the company’s partners on the Asian market.
